APPLICATION
The is designed to press (both up and down) during workover in oil, gas and exploratory wells caused by locking of drilling pipes, casing, tubing, string elements, layer tester, calibrator, bits, fishing tools, mills, ets.
CONSTRUCTION
The Mechanical Bumper Sub consists of mandrel body, rod, rod shank and sealing elements. The mandrel consists of three parts connected to each other by special threads. The upper part of the mandrel body has a box connecting thread. The inner surface of the mandrel bottom part has hexahedral slots interacting with rod slots that provides torque. The rod bottom part has a pin tool-joint thread and the rod shank is connected to the upper part by special thread. The outside surface of the shank has O-rings in slots to seal the “rod - mandrel” mobile connection.
When ordering, please specify:
- Assembly name and nominal size;
- Version (LH or RH);
- Type of connecting thread if other than stated in the table;
It is recommended to order:
- Sealing Elements - 3 sets;
- Rod shank - 1 pcs.
