Mechanical junk basket Type PM

APPLICATION

The PM is used for retrieving various metal fragments (bit bearing, dies, rope pieces after milling jobs, etc.) from the face of oil, gas and exploratory wells.

CONSTRUCTION

The Junk Basket consists of a body made from high-strength alloy steel, top sub, mill guide and mechanical grapples. Mechanical grapples mounted in two layers in the bottom part of the body are devoted for keeping the caught subjects. Keeping is carried out due to hinged fixed spring-actuated lugs, which close outlet from the junk basket inside. Mill guide made in the form of washover shoe can have different types of surfaces (plain, rolling, toothed, coming outside or smoothed flush with the body).
