Reverse circulating junk basket Type PG

APPLICATION

Junk Basket is used for retrieving various metal fragments (bit bearing, dies, rope pieces after milling jobs, etc.) from the face of oil, gas and exploratory wells. The clearing effectiveness of the face well is increased due to the effect of fluid reverse circulation.

CONSTRUCTION

Junk Basket consists of non-dismountable body made from high-strength alloy steel, top sub, mill guide and mechanical grapples. The upper part of junk basket has a boll valve with a guide for closing the central washing channel. The process of closing is carried out with running a ball into the fishing casing. There are channels between external and internal tube parts for clearing fluid running and coming out through side holes. Mechanical grapples mounted in two layers in the bottom part of the body are devoted for keeping the caught subjects. Keeping is carried out due to hinged fixed spring-actuated lugs, which close outlet from the junk basket inside. Mill guide made in the form of washover shoe can have different types of surfaces (plain, rolling, toothed, coming outside or smoothed flush with the body).
