Die Collar (through type) type LKS and KS
Application:
The STS Through Type Die Collar is an external catch fishing tool designed to retrieve tubular cylindrical items from oil, gas and exploratory well bores. This Collar catches a fish by screwing-on a box, tool joint or pipe end upset and if the upper part of the fish is broken or damaged it goes up through the Die Collar.
Construction:
The Die Collar is manufactured from high grade alloy and forged steel. The Die Collars designed is a single piece construction with thread type top connection and internal die thread (1:16 taper) type bottom and furnished in different types depend on downhole conditions.
When ordering, please specify:
- Assembly name and nominal size;
- Version (LH or RH);
- Type connecting thread if other than stated in the table;
- Die thread type (full-length thread profile or stopped thread profile);
- Die diameter if other than stated in the table;
- Die collar bottom type: plain type, plain guide, lipped guide, threaded bottom for attaching a washover shoe or oversized guide.
