Shaft Catcher type LV-120
APPLICATION:
The Shaft Catcher is designed to catch and retrieve a submersible motor type PAD-117.
CONSTRUCTION:
The Shaft Catcher consists of a top sub, body, basket grapple and milling guide made in the form of washover shoe. The basket grapple inner surface has grooves for catching the retrieving object. The basket grapple resilient quality is carried out due to some holes. The milling guide has circulating holes and channels for washing liquid to provide better cooling and shavings moving away. The process of shaft catching is carried out during catcher lifting by basket grapple moving along inclined body surface and jamming between body and external shaft surface.
