Taper Tap type LM and MBU
Application:
The Taper Tap is an internal catch fishing tool designed to retrieve tubular cylindrical members from the oil, gas and exploratory well bores. This Taper Tap catches a fish by screwing-on an internal surface of a fish.
Construction:
The Taper Tap is manufactured from hogh grade alloy and forged steel. The Taper Taps are designed like a single piece construction with thread type top connection and cone thread (1:16 taper) type bottom, and furnished in different types depending on downhole conditions
When ordering, please specify:
- Assembly name and nominal size;
- Version (LH or RH);
- Type connecting thread if other than stated in the table;
- Thread type (full-length thread profile or stopped thread profile);
- Thread diameter if other than stated in the table.
