Jar intensifier type UG
APPLICATION
The is designed to increase the effectiveness of the jar job during workover in oil, gas and exploratory wells caused by locking of drilling pipes, casing, tubing, string elements, layer tester, calibrator, bits, fishing tools, mills, ets. Using of the Jar Intensifier increases force of the jar beat and decreases influence the fishing string, especially during jobs in not deep or in deep but bended wells.
CONSTRUCTION
The Jar Intensifier consists of mandrel, rod, top sub and set of packing elements. The upper part of the rod has a special connecting thread to join the top sub with the box tool-joint connecting thread and the rod shank connected to the bottom part of the mandrel. The chevron packing set is installed between rod and shank. The mandrel consists of four parts connected to each other by special threads. The inner surface of the mandrel bottom part has slots interacting with rod slots that provides torque. The bottom part of the mandrel body has a pin type connecting thread. The inside cavity of the Intensifier is filled with the special fluid that has a high compressibility index. All connections of the bumper sub have O-rings. The mandrel body is provided with filling holes c/w special threaded fill plugs.
