Hydraulic puncher Type DG5

APPLICATION

Hydraulic puncher type DG5 designed for punching holes in the column tubing, downhole, to report the cavity tubes, a return of circulation, pressure balancing the current and workover.

 

CONSTRUCTION

Punch unit consists of 3-section housing sub, stem and core of the cuff and tip. In the Hole Punch Unit organized three cavities. The upper chamber is connected to the cavity punctured tubing or hollow inner channel bars (when running on hollow bars). The descent into the cavity, a pressure equal to the water pressure at a given depth. Average cavity - the airbag. Punch to trip, the pressure is equal to atmospheric cavity. The lower chamber filled with oil.
Effort in the Hole Punch Unit is created by the difference in pressure in the air chamber and punch water pressure in the tubing. When transferring to the core of this effort is increased by the difference in the areas of core rod and the cuffs of the carnival cavity. After punching core is reset. This is achieved by flow of oil from the cavity in the mental static air chamber on special channels on the top of the stem. Depth response Punch (set pressure) is determined by the choice of the shear pins that secure the top of the rod in the sub.
Descent punch can be a cable, rod, or resetting the cavity tubing.
