Lowering Tool type TS
APPLICATION:
The Lowering Tool is designed for running and locating the anchor with connected pressure gauge, downhole instruments or other devices into the lifting strings of oil, gas and exploratory well bores.
CONSTRUCTION:
The Lowering Tool consists of a body and catching-releasing mechanism. The Lowering Tool body consists of three parts connected to each other by metric threads. The upper part of the body has a pin connecting thread to connect a fishing head with wire fastening device. The catching-releasing mechanism placed in upper and middle parts of the body consists of pin secured arms with lugs on the bottom ends. The arms are designed to hold an anchor at the fishing head. The bottom part of the body is a guard for holding of anchor eccentric in tripping position and preventing untimely fixing of the anchor during trip into wells.
