Roller mandrel Type RO
APPLICATION
The Roller Mandrel Type RO is designed to renew damaged pipes by rolling out the ID of casing string during workover in oil, gas and exploratory well bores.
CONSTRUCTION
The Roller mandrel consists of a mandrel, three rollers and bull nose nut. The mandrel is manufactured from high grade alloy and forged steel. The top end of the tool has a box tool-joint thread for connecting with a string. The middle part has three eccentric (120 degrees ) grooves on which turning rollers are fixed. Rollers are kept on the mandrel due to rotary bull nose nut fixing by balls placed in grooves of mandrel and bull nose nut. Roller sets fixing on the mandrel have different OD and are chosen depending on required mandrel diameter in accordance with casing ID.
