Safety subs Type BRP7
APPLICATION
The safety subs type BRP7 are designed for disconnecting from the caught tool or pipes during fishing jobs in oil, gas and exploratory wells. The torque needed for sub unscrewing is no more than 30% from the moment of unscrewing.
CONSTRUCTION
The safety sub body made from high-strength alloy steel consists of two parts connected by a thread. Thread angle is 20 degrees. It allows locking of thread at tension load on a sub and preventing inadvertent turn of sub in operation. The top and bottom ends of the sub have teeth that avoid sub tension. The connection of sealing is achieved with seal rings. The body has box connection at the upper part and pin connection at the bottom.
