Tungsten Carbide Rods
APPLICATION:
The Tungsten Carbide Rods are designed to form cutting – abrasive wearing surfacing on fishing tools used during fishing jobs in oil, gas and exploratory well bores. Mill surfacing and renewal is carried out both in workshops and oilfield.
CONSTRUCTION:
The Tungsten Carbide Rods consist of tungsten carbide particles implanted into the matrix made from nickeliferous brass. We use wearproof and strength carbides 88 – 89 HRA hardness for making the rods. We can supply three sizes of the rods. The rod sizes depend on the carbide particle size. The carbide particles content into rod is 65% - 80% ±1%. Section of rod is 5/16 – 5/8 in.
It is necessary for mill surfacing: Qualified welder;
Oxyacetylene or oxypropane torch;
Rods;
Tinning rods and flux.
When ordering, please specify: Tinning rods in volume of 30% of the ordered rods weight;
Welding flux in volume of 2% of the ordered rods weight.
